“Wanna take a leap of faith? Let’s open a studio space!”
3 years ago when we started dreaming this up, the goal for the studio was for it to be a space not only for photographers, but for creative small business owners and potentially a space that can be rented for baby showers and bridal showers! The idea was big and just continued to blossom as we started looking at different properties.
In December 2022, we were in the NICU with our youngest son, signing documents online to buy what we thought would be the perfect property for the studio, but weeks later, it all fell through. I will always believe that it was part of God’s plan for it to not work out, the timing was off and we were in for much more than we realized with our littlest guy.
Now, years later, we saw an opportunity with a lease on the most charming downtown property, so we prayed about it, looked towards each other and decided to take another leap of faith. Our past experience that didn’t work out then, now feels like a redeemed situation.

More Personal
One of my favorite parts of the studio are the high ceilings, which instantly make the space feel more open, bright and inviting! The extra height provides more flexibility for photographers to frame their shots more creatively, whether capturing full-length portraits, editorial-style branding sessions, or unique overhead angles (which we will have a step stool for!).

This is the number one reason we decided to move forward with this property. Having four rooms to shoot in allow for each space to be intentionally styled or left minimal to inspire different creative visions. Clients can feel free to move between rooms for a diverse session, telling a more complete story in their branding, bridal or family portraits.

When driving to downtown Greer, I’ve always admired how adorable this property is from the road because of the quaint little porch! It adds warmth, elegance and a welcoming feel to the studio. I think the character of it makes for the perfect backdrop for family photos and bridals. Plus, it’s great to not only have a beautiful space indoors to shoot, but outdoors as well!
